Mysore practice is suitable for most people. Beginners are welcome. This is a wonderful way to learn astanga vinyasa and develop a practice. If your first encounter with astanga is Mysore style, you are very lucky!
Astanga teaching includes some hands-on adjustment of the body.

One class: £13 medium and above income / £11 low to medium income / £7 concessions.
Six-class block-booking card: £66 medium and above income / £54 low to medium income / £36 concessions.
Twelve-class block-booking card: £120 medium and above income / £96 low to medium income / £60 concessions.
Block-booking cards: Are valid for eight weeks and can be used at any Mysore class interchange-ably (week-day or Saturday, Greenwich or Woolwich). You can use your card as many times in a single week as you like. Cards cannot be used beyond the expiry date, and unused classes cannot be refunded. However, for the cost of one drop-in class, you can extend an expired card for a further eight weeks.
Time: 8.30–10.30am. In Mysore practice, you can start and finish at any time – just make sure you allow enough time for your practice (about an hour if you are a beginner).
Place: St Mark’s Centre (upper hall), 22 Greenwich South St, Greenwich SE10 8TY (entrance in Ashburnham Place).
Travel: 5 mins Greenwich overground / DLR; 53, 177, 180, 188, 199, 386 bus.
Terms: None, classes run continuously, but please check here for any scheduled cancellations. On 27 May, the class will be taught by Nina Stephens.
Mats: A limited number of mats are available to borrow; however, it’s more hygienic to have your own. You can buy a basic good-quality mat from me for £15. Please enquire.
